Quiet Mind Mountain Retreat Lodge and Quiet Mind Seqioias Lodge Retreat and Spa

1. Introduction

Welcome to Quiet Mind Mountain Retreat Lodge. By booking and staying at our retreat, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions, which outline our policies on reservations, cancellations, liability, and guest conduct.

2. Reservations & Payments

2.1 Booking Policy

• All bookings must be secured with a valid credit card or full payment in advance.

• Guests must be at least 18 years old to book a room.

2.2 Payment Policy

• Full payment is required at the time of booking for promotional rates, non-refundable reservations, and special retreat packages.

• Group bookings, of 2 or more rooms, have a no refundable deposit for 1 night for every room booked. 

2.3 Taxes & Fees

• All room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes.

• A mandatory service fee of 8.5% TOT tax applies to all room bookings and 7.25% to all food and taxable goods. 

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

3.1 Standard Cancellation

• Room Cancellations made 30 or more before check-in receive a full refund minus one night deposit tha can be used as a later credit. 

• Cancellations within [e.g., 7 days] of arrival will be charged 100%  the total stay and can be used as a later credit. 

.2 Retreat and Spa Packages

• Retreat and spa and wellness packages non-refundable 50% deposit. 

3.3 Early Departure

• Early departures are non-refundable.

4. Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in time: 3pm and Check-out time: 11am

• Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee of $30 per hour. 

5. Guest Conduct & Responsibilities

5.1 Respect for Property

• Guests are expected to maintain the retreat’s peaceful environment.

• Any damage to the property, furniture, or amenities will be charged to the guest’s registered payment method.

5.2 Noise & Disturbances

• Quiet hours are from [insert time, e.g., 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM].

• Excessive noise or disruptive behavior may result in eviction without refund.

5.3 Alcohol & Substance Use

• Alcohol consumption is not permitted. 

• The use of illegal substances is strictly prohibited.

5.4 Smoking Policy

• Quiet Mind Mountain Retreat Lodge is a smoke-free property.

• Smoking in guest rooms or common areas will result in a cleaning fee of $300 

6. Spa, Wellness & Retreat Services

• Spa treatments and wellness services must be booked in advance.

• Guests with medical conditions should consult their doctor before booking spa treatments.

• The retreat is not liable for any adverse reactions to treatments or services.

7. Pet Policy

• Pets are not allowed, except for certified service animals with prior approval.

• Emotional support animals do not qualify under ADA service animal guidelines.

8. Liability & Safety

8.1 Assumption of Risk

• Guests acknowledge that outdoor activities, spa treatments, and wellness services involve inherent risks.

• The retreat is not responsible for injuries, illnesses, or accidents that occur on the premises.

8.2 Lost or Stolen Property

• The retreat is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

• In-room safes are provided for valuables.

9. Force Majeure

Quiet Mind Mountain Retreat Lodge is not liable for cancellations or service disruptions due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or government regulations.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of [insert state, e.g., California]. Disputes will be resolved through mediation or arbitration in [insert jurisdiction] before any legal action.

11. Amendments

Quiet Mind Mountain Retreat Lodge reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.

Emails and messages will be used to communicate with guests on their reservations, spa and food services frying their stay. Messages may be weekly or daily during your stay.
