Michael Gregory is a former Buddhist monk and beloved Buddhist teacher and the Director of Mindfulness Meditation Centers. Michael and his wife Davita founded Quiet Mind Retreat together as a place of meditation , peace and well being. He has devoted his life to sharing the authentic teachings of Buddhism in a modern and transformational context. He is appreciated by his students for his direct, powerful and practical approach to spiritual practice and its integration into life and relationships.
Michael has joyfully instructed a continuous stream of educated and experienced practitioners of all levels and backgrounds in Thailand, India, Hong Kong, Europe and the United States. He has led hundreds of meditation retreats on almost every subject matter related to mindfulness, in addition to leading meditative journeys throughout Thailand, Tibet, Bhutan, Nepal, and India - further connecting students and friends with their studies and practice. Michael currently directs the practicing and teaching schedule at Mindfulness Meditation Centers, Colorado and Florida centers, as well as on-line meditation classes.
Davita Moodley is a Mindful Hypnotherapist and Relationship Specialist and Founded Quiet Mind Retreat with her husband Michael Gregory.
At Quiet Mind, Davita spends her time focused on creating a kind and caring experience that is focused on the well being and happiness of our guests.
She specialize in helping clients create awareness and changing destructive unconscious patterns and awaken to their full potential. Her focus is on sharing how hypnotherapy and mindfulness can be utilized to create conscious, passionate and purposeful relationships, careers and life purpose. She is devoted to providing a compassionate path of unconditional acceptance toward radical change and complete self empowerment. She graduated from the University of Natal South Africa with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and went onto to become a Clinical Hypnotherapist. She loves connecting with clients in retreats and one and one sessions and creating positive connections of change and Illumination. She looks forward to offering in person retreats and sessions this year at Quiet Mind Retreat.
Ram Veggina is the General Manager at Quiet Mind Retreat. Ram has worked at some of the finest hotels in the world including the Taj Hotel Group in India and The Hilton and Marriot in The US.
Ram is a computer engineer by background but due to his love for hospitality went back to school and changed his life path to do what he loves most, be of service to others.
Ram is loved for his kindness, patience and willingness to do all he can to make sure every guest at Quiet Mind receives the highest level of service.
At Quiet Mind Sarah is the Client Concierge and the person that our guests simply love for her big heart, kindness and amazing abilities to create an unforgettable retreat experience, romantic getaway or special occasion.
Sarah received her B.S. in Hospitality Management from Florida State University in 2013 and has previously worked at two of the most highly rated luxury beach resorts in Miami and Longboat, Key, FL.
Being of service has always been a natural passion for Sarah and her favorite part of being the Client Concierge at Quiet Mind Retreat is to have the opportunity to make sure that guests have all they need to deeply relax and feel at peace in their heart and mind, so that they will be able to bring this warmth back into the world.
With over 20 years of experience in the Healing Arts, Lorien specializes in Craniosacral Therapy, Energy Healing, Art Therapy, Somatic Healing, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Ayurveda, and Yoga. She offers a blend of Eastern and Western holistic mind/body therapies designed to regulate the nervous system, calm the mind, and uplift the spirit.

Denise began her classical Hatha yoga teaching journey in 1994. She felt “at home” the moment she stepped onto her yoga mat.
Denise offers a compassionate, gentle, nourishing & meditative practice. She encourages students to “fully arrive on their mat”. She guides her students to infuse postures with the breath along with listening to their body. Denise will guide you every step of the way.
Practicing with Denise invites healing, tenderness and well being to the body, mind/soul connection.
Denise specializes in One on one Teacher /student Hatha yoga sessions at Quiet Mind Retreat.
Denise also leads meditation, kirtan (meditative singing) and silent meditative walking sessions. She is a singer song/songwriter who writes songs of universal love and compassion.
Samantha received her BS in Kinesiology and Fitness Instruction from Indiana University, Bloomington in 2019, and went on to receive her professional massage license at ICOHS in San Diego, California. She has a background of competing in national level bodybuilding and trail running races, and thus maintains a great deal of reverence for the physiology and health of the human body. Since then, she has also gained massive respect for health of the mind, spirit, and nervous system, as she believes these are also key factors in our longevity and overall well-being.
Guests can expect gentle release of myofascial tissue and increased levels of awareness and appreciation for their body, mind, and emotions in sessions with Samantha.
Mary Ganey is a licensed Holistic Health Practitioner, Massage Therapist, and Reiki Practitioner. From a young age I had discovered a new world of holistic and natural remedies and inherently knew it was the path she wanted to be on. I aim to provide an escape into deep relaxation while elevating the well being of every client through a multidimensional experience. With my experience in Energy Healing, Hot Stone Therapy, Aroma Massage, Orthopedic modalities, Deep Tissue, Swedish Massage, and reflexology I aim to progress the wellbeing of every client and helping them experience a new way of self care that provides a profound source of balance and bliss.
